About Me

Hi! I’m Neha, a 25-year-old Australian living in London.

As a third culture kid, or someone who has grown up in many places from a young age, I am used to only being able to develop fleeting memories and impressions. My travel blog is an attempt to document all the adventures I’ve had over the last few years, even if my views are filtered through a fairly uninformed lens.

I’ll do my best to avoid generalisations and travel cliches. I don’t agree with the sanitised marketing approach to travel writing and the emphasis on ‘best-kept secrets’. Travel is so much more than the destination. It’s a mindset that applies to everyday life.

My blog focuses on what I find most interesting and challenging about a new place – in particular, its context, cultural practises and people. There’ll probably be other posts on the things I’m listening to and reading while I’m on the road.

I’m keen for this to be a two-way conversation, so if there’s anything you’d like to share, feel free to comment on my individual blog posts or drop me a message using the form below!
